The new CDF KIKK-ELX SET represents a significant further development of the tried-and-tested combination of dresser and changer. Whilst the CDK-BAYO KIKK-ELX SET is designed for robustness and universal applicability, the new generation focuses on higher speed, better dressing results and maximum process control.
The CDF KIKK-ELX SET is specifically designed for highly automated welding processes in the automotive industry. It combines the CDF’s state-of-the-art dressing technology with the high-performance KIKK-ELX tip changer on a single stand. The combination of both components creates a perfectly coordinated unit. Dressing and changing processes are efficiently combined – for minimal downtime and maximum system availability. The result: maximum process reliability, reduced cycle times and optimum weld spot quality.
Tip Dresser CDF
The Tip Dresser CDF represents a new generation in electrode tip dressing. Thanks to its approximately 60 per cent higher rotational speed, dressing cycles are significantly reduced, whilst the electrode surfaces are machined to an even more uniform and smooth finish. This ensures high-quality, reproducible weld spots – even in demanding aluminium applications. The intelligent rotation monitoring system integrated directly into the tool enables precise monitoring and control of the dressing movement.
Tip Changer KIKK-ELX
The KIKK-ELX enables fully automatic and safe tip changing in around 25 seconds. Thanks to its pneumatic drive, it generates enormous force when loosening the electrode tips. This force is triggered by the integrated lifting unit in the unscrewing device. This enables the tip changer to loosen even electrode tips that are subjected to enormous forces during welding, for example when welding aluminium.
